MOBILE BILLBOARD MARKET: NEW JERSEY

NOTE: 02/23/23 We are diligently working on the Naloxone mobile billboard units to get them ready, aiming for a rollout on Monday, February 26th. While that is our goal, we are still in the process of preparing the units and sorting out the logistics. We will share photos of the billboard unit as soon as they are ready, and we will continue to share more photos of both units throughout the entire campaign.
The focus of the campaign will be concentrated within the designated geographical market as shown on the map above. Marketsmith has supplied a list of pharmacy locations and we are creating a logistics map to concentrate support with the highest level of locations throughout NJ.
To reach a broader audience, our advertising campaign will feature varying start times between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., spanning 8 consecutive hours. While our billboard operators aim to adhere closely to suggested routes, slight deviations may occur when navigating local roads due to safety regulations, local traffic laws, and other factors such as weight or height restrictions. These decisions will be at the discretion of the driver. Furthermore, we are open to considering specific routing suggestions for the campaign. If you wish to schedule a special event, kindly provide at least 48 hours’ notice in advance.

NOTE: 02/23/24 Marketsmith has provided a list of pharmacies located throughout New Jersey. Our aim is to develop routing focusing on areas with the highest density of pharmacies per capita, as well as the counties with the highest rates of admissions for heroin drug rehab. By aligning our strategy with this data, we anticipate achieving precise targeting for the Naloxone campaign, optimizing our exposure efforts effectively.
Our research shows drug addiction in New Jersey is a full-blown crisis affecting thousands of lives. With a staggering 2,914 confirmed overdoses, the Garden State has a public health emergency that demands immediate attention. The substances at the forefront of this crisis are Fentanyl and Heroin, contributing to 2,266 and 1,082 confirmed cases, respectively.*

Camden County showed a high number of admissions at 7,586, with a significant number for Heroin (3,005 cases).

NOTE: 02/26/24 Despite our efforts over the weekend to meet today’s launch date, we regret to inform you that we are unable to commence as planned. There are still a few remaining tasks to address today in order to ensure the Naloxone campaign begins successfully. As far as we see, tomorrow Feb 27th, will be the official start date. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. The photo below shows the billboards being prepared at the Linden NJ shop.
NOTE: 02/27/24 The Nalozone mobile billboard campaign started this morning! Both units are now on the road together to maximize their impact. We’re in the process of finalizing a detailed route schedule, which you’ll soon be able to download as a PDF. Please see the photos below of both billboard units side by side. Each unit displays a different banner configuration. We’ll share more photos as soon as we have them.
NOTE: 02/29/24 The Nalozone mobile billboard campaign is currently on its third day and is running very smoothly. For the first two days, we had both units displayed together in a “parade” formation, which attracts a lot more eye-balls. Today, the units have split up and are each getting exposure in high-density markets in Middlesex and Passaic counties. Below are some photos from the last couple of days, and more updates and photos will follow when available.

NOTE: 03/05/24 Today, unfortunately, one of our Nalozone mobile billboard trucks had to be grounded due to unforeseen circumstances. The driver had a last-minute personal issue and was unable to fulfill their duties. While this is a rare occurrence, we understand that unexpected events can arise due to the human element involved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Rest assured, we will make up for any lost time towards the end of the campaign. Thank you for your patience and support.
Attached below are a couple of photos taken yesterday in front of an ACME store, which also features a large pharmacy department.
NOTE: 03/08/24 The Nalozone mobile billboard campaign is running smoothly. Please see additional photos below.
NOTE: 03/11/24 Due to strong winds and truck restrictions on bridges and highways leading to Atlantic City, we’ve had to postpone today’s mobile billboard campaign for one of the Naloxone billboard units. However, our northern New Jersey truck is still operational and providing exposure in the Hudson County market. We plan to reschedule the missed day for the upcoming Saturdays. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
NOTE: 03-29-2024 We’re excited to announce that the Naloxone mobile billboard campaign has reached its successful conclusion. Our team is proud to have played a role in spreading such a vital message far and wide. Your confidence in our abilities is deeply appreciated, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on this impactful project. As we wrap up this campaign, we eagerly anticipate the possibility of future collaborations with Marketsmith, continuing our shared mission of leveraging media for positive change.
